A Party For Flukeby *Mr-Ripley

Digital Art / Photomanipulation / Animals & Plants

Originally, this was a personal work I made as a remembrance of my friend's sad-eyed english cocker dog. But to submit it in my own gallery, I decided to change the dog to make the whole work looks a bit more delightful. After searching for a dog image throughout DA stock and Google, I finally chose Fluke, an adorable bulldog [descendant of England's BULLDOG OF THE YEAR] from www.bigbonebulldog.com, a website of a bulldog farm in Thailand for anyone who's looking for good bulldogs to be family's pet. [link]

And yes, among all breeds of dog, I like bulldogs most because they look funny, friendly and they can play skateboard like this too ! [link] [link] WOW!

How adorable!
I love how you added the butterflies and dragoflies to carry birthday ribbon. I like the way the grass fades off gradually to blend in with the sand.
The way you have all the birthday goodies around the animals works well and just the right amount. It's not cluttered in with the background which I think would of been overwhelming.
I really like the matted look for this picture,you gave me the impression that Fluke is not worried about shiney or blingy birthdays.....just a regular down to earth dog with the skate board being his fun for the day to hang around with his other furry friends and take them for rides down the hill.
Just hanging around with friends on his special day is exactly what he wants to do.
Thats what I think Fluke is happy about. No nonsense and fun for everyone and not just him.
A feel good and happy and fun birthday Fluke is having!

Your so very welcome! I thought I had put it in the critique area. Darn I didn't . Been busy so I think I came to a complete stop when i saw Fluke and loved the picture and I guess I was to excited to let you know what I thought...that I put it in the wrong place. Well I can always leave this here and go do a critique on Fluke...he has so many wonders in his Birthday pic and he and YOU deserve to have alot said about this picture.

. I agree Disney does make feel good movies and incorporates all kinds of wonderful togetherness between all animals and humans. Won't that be nice if our world would try to have at least an ounce of what Walt Disney did for Movies and Television?
