My first experience with wolfman. It's challenging and took much time to transform a normal guy into this famous monster. Besides drawing some fangs, putting ripped shirt, looking at a lot of images of hairy men to learn the pattern of hair before using fur brushes, I also watched movie The Wolfman [link] for inspiration.
This is a very belated BD gift for Sorry Gary for my late. This work was too fun to stop. I hope it's worth your wait.
This piece is very well done, as the art is not only great to look at but provides emotion as well. It captures the classic horror of the Wolfman and has a nice feel to it, not being over-the-top but maintaining the feeling of actual terror of such an event. The angle the creature is portrayed at is well executed and the moon looks lovely as well. One can even see bats, flying away from the beast's howls of agony and hunger. I also liked the added touch of the torn clothing, as it reminds us that this creature once had humanity.
Overall, I enjoy this piece. It brings to life the beauty of the night, disturbed by such a frightening monster. Keep up the impressive work.
