I was informed later that this is a mouse not a rat. To see the difference between rat and mouse, I searched for their images on google and what I found for mouse images are only computer's mouses and Micky mouse...LOL.. There is no image of real mouse on Google anymore.

So, could anyone please tell me the difference between rat and mouse? I just can't distinguish between them.

Love the pic but trust me, we have mice as pets and this is a mouse. A rat is twice the size, the tail is more naked and the snout is much longer. When they are young it is hard to tell them apart but when they are full grown the difference is very obvious. And you can find tons of images on yahoo search for both critters.
