The impact of this piece, is ccaptured by the lightening strike. It's really well done. The darkness is my favorite aspect, of the piece. The half moon in also, a nice addition. The background is quite, beautiful.I also like how it is dark, but gradually gets lighter, as you reach the center, of the piece. The crows add a frezy effect, to the piece. It's interesting how the path just fades.(In a good, way.) The trees add a dark, somewhat depressing feel. It's almost like the birds are trying to escape. Or maybe they are attracted to the light. Good job on this piece.
Oh my! The way that the lightning is hittiing the girl on the swing, makes me wonder if the swinger is immune to the effects or if she is a mystical figment of an imagination on the darkside. The brilliant light and the shine of the moon reflected on the middle of the canvas is exquisite. The perfect amount of shadowing on either side of the trees gives this piede of art and an eerie and fantastic look! Dark colors mixed with the gravestones surrounding the swinger make me glad that I am not walking on that road at night. I think I would rather run into the Headless horseman. It makes my imagination go wild to think that even though there is an innocent way about the swinger...one never knows and is better off not knowing. Fantastic picture over all!
